Washington to Davenport road praised as finest condition
A Washington group of auto owners and good roads backers toured Davenport and return reporting the 1. O. A. Short Line in its best shape since platting. Between Washington and Columbus Junction the road was especially fine and a fifty mile stretch to Grandview was unusually smooth due to thorough dragging. Farmers continue dragging into the season, keeping roads as good as last August.
