Judge Gary Boosts Bowery Mission Funds in New York
Former Judge bri H Gary visited the Bowery mission and boosted its funds by about four thousand dollars. The visit also sparked talk of a law to transport indigent Americans to western jobs. About 1,500 men line the bread line nightly for hot coffee and ham sandwiches, many reporting no work or chance to earn a living.
