Fire starts at home. Mary Donnell dies in Cochranton
Miss Mary Donnell of Cochranton, Meadville area, began a kerosene fire in her kitchen to burn spilled oil. She lit a match to flare the oil, catching fire to her clothing. Attired only in night garments, she burned severely before her mother extinguished the flames with a blanket. She died several hours later.
