Mrs. M McRaney of Prentiss Mississippi says three months bedridden with kidney and bladder trouble improved after two bottles of Foley's Kidney Remedy. She credits the medicine with a dramatic recovery and urges other women to try it, noting relief after treatment at Lemmon's Pharmacy.
Adam A. Houston former color sergeant of the Tenth U S Cavalry and Victoria Indian and Geronimo campaigns hero, married Amanda Hagen at her Spokane home. The Rev Gordon J McPherson conducted the ceremony. Houston survived San Juan Hill after a Mauser bullet pierced both arms and his lungs and later became an orchardist near Spokane.

Harry Coppock began work this morning at the Rothschild dry goods store. J A Hawthorne of Crawfordsville was in the city yesterday and visited at William Maxwell's home. Miss Ora Orris returned from Marion where she had been staying with her sister Mrs G A Pierce who is in poor health.
Notice is given that a last will and testament of J E Draper deceased is on file in the clerk of the District Court of Washington County Iowa. The time for proving said will is fixed for Tuesday January 5 1909 the first day of the September term of the District Court.
