Joint Christmas Party by Fortnightly Music and Drama Departments
Two Fortnightly departments, Music and Drama, held a joint Christmas party Monday evening in the ladies parlor of United Presbyterian church. Leaders introduced each other and announced a one act comedy “Pop Reads the Christmas Carol” with a cast including Mrs N A Michels and Paula Klassie. A quintet sang In the Manger and What Child is This while group numbers led by Mrs Willard Palmer and Mrs Osincup closed the event. 45 ladies attended the buffet-style gathering centered on a Madonna centerpiece.
