UPI reports Russia began returning IL28 jet bombers from Cuba. A Soviet ship Okhopsk was photographed near Cuba with three fuselages aboard on December 1. Dismantling of IL28s was underway at San Julian on November 30. Khrushchev promised to remove all 30 to 40 bombers by December.

Erbe Signs Pact for Federal Iowa Tax Data Exchange

He was born November 10 1902 in Tiffin. Survivors include his widow Anna Stebral a son Byron a daughter Inez Franck eight grandchildren two brothers T W Sweeting Carson and a sister Mabel Stephens. Two brothers predeceased him.
