Teen admits killing two siblings over jacket gift

Gas rates rise for eastern Iowa and Quad Cities
Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Co says about 25 percent higher natural gas bills will hit residents in Quad Cities, Iowa City, and Cedar Rapids this winter. The increase stems from higher NGPL costs after an FPC price order, with residential users seeing about 10 extra dollars monthly for 300 cubic feet and roughly 60 dollars yearly more. Illinois customers expect around 11 more per month. The adjustment is subject to refund if the FPC order is challenged.
