Bright-on Youth Remains Critical After Bridge Crash
A 19 year old Brighton resident Robert Vernon Fox is in serious condition at University Hospital Iowa City after a morning crash on the Skunk River Bridge north of Brighton. Fox lost control at about 9 am his car struck the bridge and was hit by a truck driven by 60 year old Centerville resident Thomas Wesley Stevens who was uninjured. The Fox car was demolished according to the Highway Patrol.

Mobile Meals to Start in Wayland Community
Wayland residents will receive five daily meals at home within two weeks. Noon meals, prepared at Parkview Home, will be delivered by volunteers at low cost.
