Young Singer nuptials at United Presbyterian Church Crawfordsville
Miss Diane Young and Greg Singer exchanged wedding vows in Crawfordsville's United Presbyterian Church on Saturday evening. The ceremony featured a double ring service, seven candle arches, and a crescent bouquet for the bride. Attendants wore blue horizon chiffon gowns. guests gathered for a 200-person reception in the church parlors. The couple will reside at 919 South Iowa in Washington, with Diane employed at Thorp Credit and Greg with Brown Shoe Fit.

Glenn Davis attended funeral services for his brother Phil E. Davis in DeWitt with daughter Martha Jobst and son Mark of Dexter. Ernest Hinkle hosted Thanksgiving guests Harry Van Dyke of Pleasant Valley Iowa and Carl Murphy family of Aledo Illinois, plus Ruth Mandrell. Sunday guests included Hinkles, Richard Hinkle family, and Floyd Mills of Hobart Indiana. George Sachen and twins Robert and Rosemary returned to Sioux Falls after Thanksgiving in Stanley Thompson home. Ronald K. Marshall of Mt. Pleasant Iowa Wesleyan College was initiated into Beta Beta Beta. W M Schme lar hosted Chmelar and family from Ottumwa, Franklin Chmelar family, and Yaro Chmelar family for Thanksgiving. Wilford Dawson returned to Veterans Hospital Iowa City after Thanksgiving weekend at home and welcomes visits. Mrs Daryl Dodder returned from Levittown New York wedding of her niece Julie Lindner and visited Chicago relatives en route home.

Two Accidents Reported In Washington County Over Weekend
Washington County Sheriff's officers investigated two weekend accidents. Dennis Eugene Norton of Ainsworth veered off Old Highway 92 onto a telephone pole, injuring himself and causing 800 plus 100 dollars in damage. he was charged with failure to have control. John M. Yates of Milwaukee lost control on wet pavement, left the road into a ditch, damaged a fence for 350 dollars, with no injuries and no charges filed.
