Four Elderly Persons Die by Joint Suicide Pact in St Louis
In a South St Louis apartment four elderly residents died from 22 caliber gunshot wounds in a linked suicide pact. Arthur Forrester, his wife Lucille aged 64, her mother Mary Conkling 88, and Mary Conkling’s daughter Blanche 66 were found with notes and hospital bills. Police say each signed a note and used a handkerchief brace to fire the weapon, with Forrester last to die.

Mrs Nichols 82 died Sunday at the Helen Hadiey Rest Home here where she had been the past two months. Previously she has been hospitalized with a broken leg. Mrs Nichols had lived here since 1940. She was born to J H and Me Rest Runyan and married Millard Nichols in January 1900. Survivors include four daughters a son Everett of Richland ten grandchildren and 11 great grand children.

Youth Pleads Guilty to Three Driving Charges
Wellman youth John Russell Whetstine 20 began serving nine days in county jail after pleading guilty to reckless driving leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident over 50 dollars.
