Birthday fete aids St James school benefit
The lawn fete held last evening for the benefit of the St James school was well attended and the receipts will net the school about 5 or 10. A jolly social time was enjoyed by all. The rough road conditions and dark night limited country attendance. Kirk Ed ridge celebrated his tenth birthday yesterday with younger friends at his home. A group photo was taken. Present were Ava Cherry Jean Cherry Donald McLaughlin Floyd Vera Wilber Knupp Harry Pear Phillips.
