Wilfred J. Maguire and his youngest son Danny died in a high speed crash on the interstate after Maguire allegedly strangled his other three children in a locked house with the gas on. Mrs Julia Maguire, wife and mother of the victims, is hospitalized after learning of the deaths.

The Rev. David Livingston Jr. will headline the final Cen tral Park union worship Sunday at 7 30 p m with Rev Ralph Wedeking presiding. Wheat Farmers Approve Marketing Quotas in 1962 Vote
The Agriculture Department reports that 79.4 percent of voters in 39 states backed Kennedy administration plans for marketing quotas to control the wheat surplus. The final tally 211 199 to 54 687 favored quotas, with price supports at 24 dollars per bushel for compliant producers. Disapproval would have cut supports to 118/1.19. Agriculture Secretary Freeman said quotas would raise farm income cut surplus and storage costs.

Six Die in North Dakota Car Truck Crash Near Devils Lake
Six people were killed in a crash nine miles east of Devils Lake between a car and a pickup. Children under 16 enjoyed free admission and a free grandstand show as officials highlighted urban and rural attractions.
