War Vet Russell Kingsbury Buried In Bancroft Digging Accident
Russell Kingsbury, war veteran of Defiance, was buried in a 12 foot ditch near Bancroft while operating a dragline. A cave in buried him up to his chin, then a second cave in covered him completely. It took 45 minutes to recover the body.
