Man Crushed by Tombstone in Graveyard Incident
E. E. Marley died last night after being crushed against a tombstone in a Fairfield graveyard where he worked. The car he tried to crank had been left in gear and rolled, pinning him to the monument. He was found several hours later by his employer O. P. Johnston.

Plane Crash Kills Ten in Czecho Slovakia Flight
Nine passengers and a pilot died and two passengers were seriously injured when an airplane crashed near Freidrichstadt while en route from Prague to Pressburg via Brun. Robbers’ Car Found Near Luverne As Fingerprints Sought
State agents recovered the bandits’ getaway car six miles from Luverne and prepared to take fingerprints.
