U S forces push toward the Mexican border as one hundred tanks and 3,000 rifles ship from the army reserve to forts near the border. Air support from Fort Bliss and four airplanes join U S troops in pursuing bandits who kidnapped American aviators Peterson and Davis.
The Mexican government authorized aviators to cross the international frontier to locate Lieutenants Harold B. Peterson and Paul H. Davis, reportedly captured by bandits. The bulletin, issued by Gen.
