William D. Lewis 84 lifelong Columbus Junction resident died at his home Tuesday evening. Born in Canada November 2, 1854 he married Ida Elliot in 1885. He worked as a bridge carpenter on the Rocky Island railroad and was a Masonic member. Surviving are his widow three sons Harry Burt and Ted fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren three brothers Frank Joe and Smith. Funeral Thursday at Stephens funeral home with Rev. J B Pooley. Burial in Columbus City Cemetery.
