West Liberty Farm Home Rocks From Explosion
A farm home about four miles southwest of West Liberty Iowa exploded Thursday night injuring two occupants. Loren Windus 22 and Shirley Windus 19 were taken to University Hospitals Iowa City in serious condition with burns covering 45 and 85 percent of their bodies respectively. The blast apparently traced to a water heater blew out windows scattered furnishings and bulged walls. Windus reportedly was in the basement and rescued his wife before driving to his parents nearby. The couple had no children.

Youths Passports May Be Cancelled

Cement truck drops through bridge near Richland

Man Arrests Kidnapper After Trunk Rescue Near Kansas City
