Frank McKay was hurt somewhat in the wagon incident. Anderson may have to shoot the horse as the buggy was badly damaged. A grandson of John Matuecha fractured his right elbow after a bicycle fall, and Dro das Phillips suffered a broken leg and injured arm while walking on crutches.

Tragic suicide shocks Riverside area family
John Scheider, 27, of the Riverside area four miles north, hanged himself in the hay mow of his father's farm. After showing illness and withdrawal earlier, he was found by his family at noon. Coroner notified as authorities consider mental distress from sickness.
