Born June 11 1841 in Cambridge NY he was Civil War veteran of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry. He leaves widow and daughter Louise of Seymour and two sons Dodd Sherman and Fort Sherman of Washington. another son Will Sherman died in 1905. He lived in Washington until four years ago, grandson of a Revolutionary War soldier.
