Young soldiers cause a stir by insulting ladies in town

Near Fatal Phaeton Accident in North Iown Street
About 11 30 this morning Miss Meacham suffered a severe fall when a frightened horse and phaeton collided with a bicycle near the square. The Misses Maxwell, Lucy Meacham, and Miller were uninjured aside from Miss Meacham who was unconscious then taken to a tailor shop and later to her home on East Washington Street. W A Stiles' little grandson Willie climbed the porch area near a bird nest. His hat toppled, he leaned to retrieve it and toppled to the ground. The fall left him bruised but he escaped with only minor injuries.
