F G Bilkey Milwaukee railroad police lieutenant was shot and wounded in Ottumwa Iowa while in pursuit of a prowler among freight cars. Two assailants fled after beating him with a club. Bilkey, formerly Ottumwa chief of police, later became a Milwaukee railroad special agent and is known in Washington.
