Obituary: John McCall Senior Merchant Dies at 11 A.M.
John Alexander McCall, senior partner in McCall Brothers, died at his South Marion Avenue home in Washington at about 11:00 this morning after a fourteen month illness. He was born June 7 1855 near Crawfordsville and spent most of his life in Washington in the flow and feed business. He served on the city council and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Knights of Pythias. He leaves a son Lloyd Franklin in Long Beach California, two brothers Al W and Harry McCall, and a sister Mrs Emma Scranton Oswoer Kansas. Funeral arrangements pending.
