Many Items Entered Judge 4-H at Washington County Fair
The Washington County Fair judged girls 4-H entries this morning with demonstration teams on stage in the armory and ribbons awarded to hundreds of items. Several projects were selected for display at the Iowa State Fair and a 4-H photo display drew many visitors alongside garden produce. The partial results list blue and red ribbons across many clubs including C. C Cloverettes, Iowa Maidens, Headliners, Starliners, and Pepperettes, with participants such as Denise Hammen, Lorna McCoy, Roberta Shaffer, Betty Rice, JoEllen Viggers, and Maureen Scherrer among the long list.
