Reds Continue To Study Truce Plans
In Munsan Korea the Reds studied an Allied armistice plan for a third day and gave no hint of a reply. The United Nations command advanced hopes by limiting议 blocking issues and considering a pause to review. Reports from Washington said Allies offered to return three of 162000 captured or interned in Korea if the Communists agree, potentially breaking a five month deadlock on prisoner exchange. The U N also reportedly pressed for a ban on constructing military airfields and not to count Russia as a neutral truce policeman.
