No-To-Bac hailed as tobacco cure in St. Louis journal

An editorial in the St. Louis Journal of Agriculture cites No-To-Bac as a cure for tobacco habit. It touts a prominent St. Louis architect who smoked and chewed for twenty years and claims two boxes cured him, with the smell now repelling him. Marriage at St James Catholic Church Belial and Vodenski

This morning at St James Catholic Church the marriage of John Belial and Julia Vodenski was celebrated by Father Jacobmeyer with high mass. Attendants were the bride’s sister Lizzie and brother John Wodenski. The bride wore a brown silk gown with a Van Dyke lace collar and a white orange blossom veil. A large crowd attended. the couple will begin housekeeping at a new home one mile west and a reception is planned this evening.

Swedish play delights Graham audience with strong company

A large Graham audience enjoyed a Swedish style drama after Ole Olsen and Von Yonson. Jerry Keanan as Swan and Ed Kimball as Bill Brady received strong notices, while Beebe and Bronson offered solid support. Lillian Ames and Ray Lewis impressed, with young Clare praised for natural talent. Tonight the company presents The Waifs of El Dorado with new songs.
