Klapp Wins Two Iowa Press Women Awards in 1976
Sheilah Klapp Evening Journal Family Editor won two awards at the 1876 Communications Contest of Iowa Press Women Inc presented at the IPW spring banquet in Ames. She placed first in Special Articles Home Furnishings and third in Special Issues for Juvenile Delinquency and the New Hope Home. Both awards were in the newspapers under 40 000 circulation category. Home Furnishings pieces have been sent on for NF PW 1976 contest.

Fieldwork halted as Iowa sees rains across most regions
