Is Crushed By Box on Dump Truck
An Iowa Highway Commission employee, Fred Ratclaff, 62, was killed when the dump truck box lowered onto him while crews repaired shoulders along Iowa 71, ten miles south of Atlantic. Ratclaff, father of five, died on arrival at a local hospital.
