Mrs. Sybilla Boling Dies in Washington Home
Mrs. Sybilla Boling aged 94 died yesterday evening at 5 35 at the home of her niece Mrs Mae Fleming on North Marion avenue where she resided the last six years. Funeral services are set for Monday at two at the Methodist church, with burial in Elm Grove cemetery. The casket will be open for friends Sunday 4 to 9 pm and Monday 9 am to 12 pm at Goodin parlors. She was born in Muncy Pa, daughter of George and Mary Kleese, sister of eleven, survived by sister Mrs Jennie Young of Philadelphia. She came to Washington fifty two years ago and kept house for her brother George Kleese. She married B F Boling August 15 1896. he died about sixteen years ago. Three stepsons and one stepdaughter survive. She was active in the Methodist Church and missionary societies.

Glasgow Funeral Sunday Four OClock
Funeral services for James D. Glasgow will be held Sunday at four o'clock in the Methodist church, with Dr. W W Bowers and Dr H B Seales assisting. An escort will accompany the casket from the church to Elm Grove cemetery, where Washington lodge will conduct the grave service. The casket will be opened to friends this evening four to nine and Sunday morning nine to twelve at Goodin funeral parlors. Glasgow, born August 23 1866 in Jackson Township, was longtime Washington official and state inheritance tax official. He died after a fall and pneumonia following months of poor health. He married Cora Rogers in 1889 and is survived by his widow and several siblings and half-siblings. He served as mayor for sixty years, on the city council, district court clerk, first president of the Washington Rotary Club, and held leadership roles in the Iowa League of Municipalities and Red Cross.

Father Doyle Named to Imogene Parish
Rev. F W Doyle will leave St James Church Washington after this Sunday to become pastor at Imogene Iowa near Shenandoah in the Des Moines diocese. He came to Washington last October to replace Rev Hartman and will be returned to the Des Moines district. The St James pulpit will be supplied until a successor is announced. Father Hartigan is reportedly staying in Brooklyn New York.
