Parker pleads guilty in six embezzlement indictments
Robert Parker, president of the defunct Remington bank which closed December 19, 1907, pleaded guilty to six indictments charging embezzlement. He was fined twice the amount embezzled and sentenced on each indictment to two to fourteen years in the penitentiary. He was taken to prison at once.
