The Graham-Earle Co plans a Graham engagement in Des Moines this week and Ottumwa next week. The troupe has shown in major cities this season and is regarded as a top road show. Ticket prices are low with balcony and gallery 10e and parquet 20c.

The city learns of the death of Mrs. Dr. Cowden of Winfield after a year of stomach illness. Her husband died within the past year. She planned to make Washington her home this summer. A son and daughter are left orphans. the Cowden family was well known and beloved.
Miss Wilson daughter of Jim Wilson living four miles southeast of town drank a large amount of carbolic acid and was rushed by Crawfordsville medical aid. Her throat and stomach blistered, she remains alive with fair recovery prospects, motive uncertain whether accidental or a personal crisis.
The town invites all young people to a Sunrise Prayer Meeting at the Presbyterian church tomorrow at 6 30 a m. The sermon topic is Easter Morning or the Resurrection. The notice also advertises Hall's Catarrh Cure and Hall's Family Pills with a money back claim and an offer for circulars from I J Cheney Co Toledo Ohio.
