Elementary registration at Lincoln School and Stewart School tomorrow, with junior high and high school from April 16 to 19. Roe's Heating Team Wins Share of ABC Prize Money
Washington bowlers compete in the national ABC tournament in Des Moines. Roe's Heating Company posted 2752 in its division on Saturday night at Veterans Memorial Auditorium, the highest score of the 9 30 shift, earning the team a prize-money share. Keota Mourns Death of Stanleigh Henderson at 61
Stanleigh Henderson 61 died suddenly at his Keota home Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Wesley Methodist Church in Keota. He was born October 8, 1900, in Washington County, and cared for by his wife Mary Gregory Henderson and son James. Survivors include his widow, son, daughter, 13 grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters, and a memorial fund established by friends.

Local seniors from Washington Community High School may share three scholarships this year. The Griffith Scholarship offers 300 dollars for any Iowa college. the Shields Memorial provides about 900 dollars from a 20 000 bequest. Kiwanis funds grant two 200 dollar awards to graduates entering trade or technical schools. Selection rests with school officials based on character, need, and scholastic standing.

Two Iowa Weekend Traffic Fatalities Raise Toll
United Press International reports two weekend fatalities in eastern Iowa raise the 1962 traffic death toll to 107. In Davenport Kathleen Redmund, 19, died after a crash that also injures her husband Robert 19 and Sidney Froelich 21. In Maquoketa Louis Mattie 61 of Prairie du Chien Wisconsin died when his car hit a bridge abutment on U S 61. his wife Mary 49 was listed in fair condition.
