Valerie Poubelle of France will be the 1975 76 AFS exchange student at Washington High School as the local chapter launches its annual fund drive. The program brings students from 60 nations to US communities and enables US students to study abroad. An estimated 1700 is needed for a full year hosting one foreign student and sending one local student overseas.
