Auto Crash Near Washington Leaves Two Injured

YMCA World Service speaker to address Washington group
Kenneth J. Smith, YMCA World Service worker, will speak at the Washington YMCA Tuesday night. He will also attend the Y's Men's Club ladies night dinner before giving a public talk in the Community room at 7 30 p m. Smith's talk covers YMCA World Service efforts to keep YMCAs active worldwide and draws on his years in Europe including Poland and Italy. He recently returned on furlough after helping open a YMCA center in Rome and working in Sicily. In 1946 he became the first YMCA worker to reach Warsaw after World War II. Smith is a graduate of Colby College and studied at Springfield College and Yale University.

A weekend spate of military plane crashes killed at least eight people. A C-133 cargo craft from Dover AFB burned after takeoff near Georgetown Delaware, with four aboard dead.
