Funeral services for Mrs. Car T. Fischer, who died yesterday at Washington county hospital, will be held 2 PM Friday at Sherman’s funeral home. Dr. F C Witziman will conduct. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery. She had been ill three weeks and an operation was performed last Saturday. She was born October 24, 1874 at Keota and became Mrs. Nelville Proudfit in 1892. Surviving: her husband and two sons Clarence A. Proudfit of St Paul and Merle G. Proudfit of Washington, plus stepchildren Freda Krueger, Gertrude Fischer, Carl Vischer, Stephen, and Lyman, a brother Arthur Stiles, and step-siblings Clyde Maxwell and Ollie Springer.
