Sheldon Youth Killed In Car Truck Crash
A 19 year old Sheldon youth, Ney Fokken, died in a late night head on collision on Iowa Highway 18 about 30 miles east of Sheldon. A passenger, Fred Teese Link, 18, was in critical condition with a brain concussion and other injuries. The semi driver, Rudolph Disterheft, 54, Eau Claire Michigan, had minor scalp cuts. The other passenger, Douglas Ling, 21, Sheldon, had injuries undetermined.
