Pioneer Alex Clark dies. longtime community leader
Alex Clark, Watkins representative for three years, died at 3:30 this morning at his daughter Edith Weidner's home in Brighton. Born July 3, 1853 in Perry Wisconsin, he lived in Batavia before moving to Brighton in 1875. He leaves four children, ten grandchildren, siblings, and was active in the Methodist church and Micha ern Woodmen. Funeral at the Brighton Methodist Church Saturday at 2:00, with burial in Brighton Cemetery, possible postponement if relatives in California arrive.
