Richland sees new shops and community growth
Richland added two new businesses in the past year with a third planned. The Richland Department Store is run by Mr and Mrs Joe Lopez and opened in 1962 after a full redecorating. New ventures include a TV and Radio shop run by Mr and Mrs Howard Thomas, a Farm Store Supply and Produce market by Halmers Hoskins, and Conklin Barber Shop expanding to two chairs. The town also advances in parks, libraries, and civic programs with Lions Club projects, road side park plans, and a growing volunteer fire department and police presence.
