E R Isaac proprietor of the Lindle Hotel in Keota died at 7:00 AM Saturday April 11 after a short illness. Born in Wales June 1 1854 he came to the U S at 13 and married Miss Mellissa Hecox in 1878. they had three daughters and a son. He later married Miss Nettle Mead in 1901 and the couple ran Keota's Lindle Hotel, famed as the town's oldest hostelry. Funeral services were held at the Lindle Hotel and at the Methodist church in North Henderson Illinois with burial in North Henderson on Monday.
