Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 30 a m at L A Jones funeral home with Dr Fred Miller of the Methodist church officiating, burial in Elm Grove cemetery. She was born in Bethesda Ohio daughter of James and Phoebe White and lived in Washington 26 years. Survived by mother Phoebe White three sisters Altha White Mother White and Mrs Lulu Nabb and four brothers Burt Ira Orville and Herman White. One brother Ernest White preceded in death.

Funeral planned for Lt Edmondson killed in plane crash
Funeral services for First Lieutenant Hadley R. Edmondson of Washington are planned for Wednesday afternoon in Washington with burial at Elm Grove Cemetery. Edmondson, a flying instructor with the Army Air Corps, died Saturday near George Field Lawrenceville Alabama when a C-46 crashed on takeoff. Also killed was Lt Donald Ferrier of Mason City. Edmondson was 23, had four brothers in service, and was a 1937 Washington High School graduate. He had been employed at the American Pearl Button company before joining the service on his 22nd birthday February 8 1943.

William Francis Kallaus 24 of Iowa City died February 21 1945 in enemy action on Iwo Jima as a radarman third class. Survived by parents Glennick and Mrs Kallaus and brothers Kenneth and Richard. former Riverside resident and St. Mary's Riverside graduate. Joined Navy January 1944 and served on a jeep carrier invasion ship with action in Luzon Formosa and China coast.

Trucker Burns Alive After Bettendorf Collision
Pavenport spread: Wil lis G. Haring, 53, of Camanche, Iowa, was burned to death early Sunday when his log laden truck caught fire after colliding with another vehicle near the Iowa Missouri memorial bridge from Bettendorf to Moline. David F. Van Vactor, 21, of St Joseph, Missouri, and Margar et Addyman, 16, of Walcott, were injured and hospitalized in Davenport with cuts and bruises.
