Minor Injuries In Highway Crash Reported
Don Applegate of southwest Washington suffered a minor head cut in a Thursday crash on highway one. Charles M. Scott, 22, of Fairfield, sustained a leg injury as a passenger in the other car driven by Terry Wayne Heil of Fairfield. Sheriff deputies reported $900 in damages. Heil pulled off the highway to let an oncoming car pass and was struck when he began to cross.
