Death of Charles E. Mumper in Brighton
Charles Edward Mumper 88 of Brighton died Wednesday after a ten day illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Christian church of Brighton with Rev. R W Fillmore and Rev BE E Voss officiating. Interment in Brighton cemetery. He was born July 16 1866 in Coppock Iowa, married Carrie J. DeLong in 1891, spent 60 years in Brighton, served 45 years on the church board, and was janitor at the Brighton Grade School 1907 1916 and at the high school until illness. Survived by son Gilbert A. Mumper of Richland WA, daughter Mrs George M. Griffith Mission KS, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Truman Proposes Five Point Plan To Boost Unemployment Pay
