District Music Contest Draws 2000 Students from 45 Schools
Musicians from 45 high schools will compete in Washington over Thursday through Saturday in the district music contest hosted in the high school building. About 2,000 students and teachers are expected to visit. The program features 34 events including marching bands concert bands orchestras and vocal solos with top winners advancing to the state contest in Town City in May. Season wickets are 25 cents for students and 50 cents for adults with advance sales required.
