They lived nine miles northwest of Washington on the home farm. Mr Rittenhouse died March 5 1923. She leaves three sons D HM Rittenhouse W B Rittenhouse and John Rittenhouse. Her unselfishness made her beloved by family and neighbors.

IOWA CITY April 2 The coal supply in Iowa is ample if the estimates of FPF. Bulmahn of the Iowa Southern Utilities company at Centerville are accurate. Bulmahn places the approximate coal resources of the state at 26 billion tons which will last 3000 years at the rate of 8 million tons consumption per year.
