Tornado Damages Barn and Homes at Ainsworth Farm
A tornado struck the L. G. Roberts farm near Ainsworth delivering a funnel shaped cloud that ripped the 40 by 50 foot cattle barn roof from its frame and destroyed a hog house and chicken house. The Roberts family sought shelter in a cellar and escaped injury despite severe fright and property losses.
