A witness described the murder of Carrie Larsen on a ship last winter. Louis Thoombs allegedly attacked Larsen after luring her with work as an assistant cook. The witness said Thoombs strangled her and disposed of the body in a hole near the vessel. The testimony drew a crowd and shock in the courtroom.
