Sherfey awaits the September term of court opening the sixth and has hired Ralph Munro of Fairfield to handle his case. Extradition battles delayed his return, with the sheriff gone two weeks to secure credentials.

Death claims C L Brock after short illness
Oscar L. Brock died at his home 719 North Town Avenue Friday morning about eight due to heart trouble. He was a Milwaukee railroad freight clerk for ten years and former owner of the Washington bottling works. Born July 31, 1869 in Minoak Illinois, he came to Washington in 1893 and married Marie Tracy in 1895. Survivors include wife, four children Mildred Rosenbaum Williams Arizona Fred D South English Paul D and Alice at home, one grandson William Oscar Brock, four sisters and one brother. He belonged to Masonic Lodge Washington A F and A M Cyrus Chapter Royal Arch Masons Woodmen and attended Methodist services. Funeral was Sunday at 3 pm with Masonic burial at Elm Grove cemetery.
