Titus 10 Celebrate Tuesday Evening
Next Tuesday evening the annual July celebration will be held at Titus with hundreds expected. The Washington Junior band will play under Charlie Strum’s direction, and a lighting system will illuminate grounds around the Titus store. Fireworks display featuring Roman candles and sky rockets is planned along with a refreshment stand north of the store. Electric Franchise Defeated at Albia

Warrant Filed for Arrest of D Harvey
A warrant was filed with county sheriff Chas. M. Denison for the arrest of David Harvey on a charge of driving a car while under the influence. He is to appear before Justice of Peace W. E. Barber at four this afternoon. Harvey allegedly struck a Dodge touring car driven by J. A. Hunsaker near Roy Stewart grocery on South Iowa avenue yesterday noon. The Pontiac sedan he drove suffered front end damage, while the Dodge was badly wrecked. both drivers escaped injury.
