The long roster names Republican and Democratic officials by township and precinct, including Brighton, Cedar, Clay, Crawford, Dutch Creek, Kalona, Richmond, Franklin, Highland, Iowa, Jackson, Lime Creek, Oregon, Seventy Six townships and Washington wards.

Chicago Children Arrive for Summer Time in Community
A group of twelve Chicago youths arrived Thursday afternoon to spend the summer in the community. They were chaperoned by Mr. McDowell who traveled from Chicago on the mid afternoon train. Various girls will stay with local families including Mary Jung with Mrs. Horak of Kalona and Helen Giduck with Mrs. Clarence Fulton among others.

Funeral services were held in Iowa City for James H. Guzeman 76 pioneer manufacturer who died at his home after a year long illness. He was born in Washington and survived by widow Anna Center, two brothers Joseph and Charles, and sister Mrs J H McMurray. A sister Mrs George Heiderman died last December.

Masson Enjoys Air Trip Home Despite Stops and Engine Trouble
Dr. H. F. Masson returned from New York after a week of medical work and visited his brother near Boston. The flight to Iowa City via Cleveland hit engine trouble near Cleveland, forced an emergency landing, then rerouted to Moline before resuming to Iowa City two o clock Saturday morning. He valued the unexpected adventure and was not unhappy with the delay.
