Y M C A officers plan for the annual boys camp at Camp Wapsie Y near Central City Iowa from July 15 to 22. Oz Powell of Keota Dies After Prolonged Illness
Oz Powell 84 of Keota died Tuesday morning at his home after years of declining health. Born February 17 1845 in Green County Pennsylvania he moved to the area as a youth and later lived on a farm east of Keota before settling in town. Survived by his wife one son John of Seventy Six Township and two daughters Sadie and Stella who resided with their parents. the Powells observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary years earlier. Funeral services were held this afternoon.
