The Washington city council passed a resolution levying sewer improvement taxes for western district properties. Cotter Funeral Arrangements Set for Mrs Mary Ann Cotter
The body of Mrs Mary Ann Cotter arrived in Washington Wes for funeral services in St James Catholic Church at 9:20 Thursday. Burial will follow at Glen Grove cemetery. A rosary was held Wednesday at Sherman’s funeral home. She died at her sister’s home in Fort Cobb Oklahoma. She was born September 27 1860 and lived in Muscatine and Lett. Her husband James Cotter died six years ago in Phoenix Arizona. She was a daughter of Thomas and Catherine Bailey and is survived by a sister and brother Henry Cotter of Tempe Arizona.
